Carol Bauhs Benson Scholarship

• Dependent on funding.
  
• Established in memory of Carol Bauhs Benson, this scholarship is awarded to students at the Certificate/Associate educational level who reside in the following states: Minnesota; North Dakota; South Dakota or Wisconsin.
• Applicants must possess a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  
• Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
  
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year in a dental hygiene curriculum. Students may be in the process of completing their first year when the application is submitted.
  
• Applicants must be a professional member or student member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).
  
• Awards range from $1,000.00 - $2,000.00
  

Sigma Phi Alpha Certificate/Associate Scholarship

• Dependent on funding.
  
• This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student pursuing a Certificate/Associate degree at a school with an active chapter of Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society who is a potential future Sigma Alpha Phi member.
  
• Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
  
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year in a dental hygiene curriculum. Students may be in the process of completing their first year when the application is submitted.
  
• Applicants must be a professional member or student member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).

Scholarship for Academic Excellence

• Dependent on funding.
• Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States
  
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year in a dental hygiene curriculum. Students may be in the process of completing their first year when the application is submitted.
  
• Two scholarships are reserved for students pursuing a Baccalaureate degree and three scholarships are designated for students pursuing a Certificate/Associate degree.
  
• Applicants must be a professional member or student member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).
  
  

Colgate 'Bright Smiles, Bright Futures' Minority Scholarships

• Dependent on funding.
  
• These scholarships are awarded to members of populations currently underrepresented in dental hygiene programs at the Certificate/Associate level. This includes: African Americans; Hispanics; Asians; Native Americans and males.
  
• Applicants must be pursuing a Certificate/Associate degree.
  
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year in a dental hygiene curriculum. Students may be in the process of completing their first year when the application is submitted.
  
• Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
  
• Applicants must be a professional member or student member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).
  
• Award Amount: $1,250.00
  
  

Wilma Motley Memorial California Merit Scholarship

• Dependent on funding.
  
• Applicants must demonstrate leadership experience in addition to meeting the minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  
• These scholarships are awarded solely on merit and do not have a financial needs requirement.
  
• Applicants must either be a resident of California or attend a dental hygiene program in California.
  
• Applicants may be pursuing the following education levels: Associate/Certificate; Baccalaureate; Baccalaureate Degree Completion; Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP); Master's or Doctorate.
  
• Applicants must be a professional or student member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).
  
• Award amount: $2,000.00
  

Karla Girts Memorial Community Outreach Scholarship

• Established in memory of Karla Girts, BSDH, RDH, Past President of ADHA and former Chair of ADHA's Institute for Oral Health.
  
• Applicants will demonstrate a commitment to improving oral health within the geriatric population.
  
• Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  
• Applicants may be pursuing Associate/Certificate or Baccalaureate degrees.
  
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year in a dental hygiene curriculum. Students may be in the process of completing their first year when the application is submitted.
  
• Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
  
• Applicants must be a professional member or student member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).

Hu-Friedy/Esther Wilkins Instrument Scholarships

• Dependent on funding.
  
• This program awards recipients with the Hu-Friedy dental instruments of their choice, equivalent to a retail value of $1,000.00.
  
• Applicants may be pursuing Certificate/Associate or Baccalaureate degrees.
  
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year in a dental hygiene curriculum. Students may be in the process of completing their first year when the application is submitted.
